Day 9-No hablas Inglés

Today was a very successful day, starting with cooking breakfast (damn we are getting good at this adult stuff) and moving onto exploring and shopping (for food! But also drink).  Before heading of on our great adventure of the day we stopped in a local pastry shop for some Eclairs, Donuts and (under Amanda's orders) Ice-cream.

Today we went on a hike up to Castillo de Mataespasa up in the far end of Alpedrete. It was a gorgeous hike up through fields (that were very steep) and then onto the ruins which whilst heavily vandalised were still stunning, an almost timeless beauty to them. On the way home we were stopped and asked a question by a man in Spanish, that we both without question (and rather proudly) answered with, "No hablas Inglés". As in we don't speak English?? Way to go guys, y'all real smart.

Overall a truly great day that ended in a big food shop and some lovely fajitas for dinner with some Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
